Design Experience

Dave has been in the pool and landscape industry for 15 years. He has personally been involved in the design, sales, and construction aspect of over 1200 projects. Along with his great magnitude of experience, he is a 5 time NPSI and APSP National Design Award Winner.

Dave came to Unique Landscape last year after working at one of Arizona’s largest pool companies for thirteen and a half years. His experience there included sales, management, and company Vice-President. With his previous company, David competed for projects against Unique on many occasions. He really came to appreciate the projects Unique was doing and the quality in which Unique was capable of delivering them. He then got a chance to meet Chris Griffin (owner) and after speaking with Chris, Chris knew it was time for me to be a part of his team.

Dave has had great success over the last 15 years by being a “great listener” and taking clients dreams and turning them into reality. He not only likes to make sure projects turn out beautiful, but also makes sure they are functional for the client. His approach to designing is “function before form.”

Dave’s favorite part of the business is designing. The most rewarding part is watching those designs become reality. To be a part of the process from start to finish is a very fulfilling experience.

Outside of work, Dave enjoy staying very active. He can usually be found doing something athletic. Whether it is enjoying one of the great local mountain trails, golfing, playing tennis, or participating in a highly competitive basketball, he’s always on the go!
